The Philippine Chamber of Business and Professionals, Shanghai, hosted a booth at the 2023 Children's Day Charity Fun Fair 2023 which was held at the Grand Millenium Hotel Hongqiao on June 4, 2023. The event was organized by Beacon of Love in cooperation with Shanghai Children's Health Foundation. Proceeds from the event went towards the treatment and care of underprivileged children with congenital heart disease.
PhilChamSH, with the help of Shanghai Daxin Packing, prepared a game for kids called Shoot to Win. With a token, kids were given three sandbags with three chances to shoot into the boxes. Corresponding prizes for each good shot were provided by Kitivity Kits and the Philippines' Department of Tourism. Great fun was had by all at the PhilChamSH booth.
The Children's Day Charity Fun Fair was filled with other enjoyable activities for children. There was singing, dancing, face painting, balloon sculpturing, a magic show, a raffle draw, and other games with exciting prizes. Children played chess, junior archery, mini-golf, and goal shoting with a football or a basketball. There was also a bouncy castle for the energetic little kids. Snacks like cotton candy, sugar sculptures, ice cream, DIY kiddie dessert were also served. Other booths sold children's books, toys and specialty products. A sumptuous Southeast Asian-inspired lunch buffet was also available for everyone to partake of during the event.
Indeed, it was a day well spent giving back to the community.
