The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) , in cooperation with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center, Shanghai (PTIC), brings its TNK (Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan) program to Shanghai on November 5, 2018. Filipinos who are interested in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and investments; as well as foreigners who are interested in investing in the Philippines are invited to join.
The event will start at 6:30pm at the Oishi Liwayway Factory in Qingpu. There will be free shuttles picking up participants in 2 meeting points. In the Philippine Consulate, 5:20pm. And in Line 17 Xu Ying Ping Road Station Exit 1 from 5:20pm to 8pm, leaving every 20 minutes.

DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez will speak about the TNK program and the tools DTI offers to support micro, small, and medium enterprises. DTI Director for Export Marketing Bureau Senen Perlada will speak about "Exports and Trading 101 and an Overview of Philippines and China trade trends and opportunities". The Philippine Franchise Association will share "How to Invest in the Right Franchise". First Metro Securities Brokerage Corporation will advice on "How to Raise Capital Efficiently through various Financial Instruments."
It will be attended by the Philippine Ambassador to China Hon. Chino Sta Romana, Philippine Consul General to Shanghai Wilfredo Cuyugan, Consul Marlowe Miranda, Consul Conrado Demdem Jr, PTIC Beijing Commercial Counselor Glenn Peñaranda, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), and Philippine exporters delegation to the 1st CIIE (China International Import Expo).
TNK in Shanghai is spearheaded by Mario Tani, Vice Consul (Commercial) for DTI and PTIC Shanghai. In cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines, Shanghai; Oishi, Dai-ichi, First Metro Securities, Metrobank, Philippine Franchise Association, Filipino Community in Shanghai (FilComSha), Bagong Pinoy Community (BPCom), Tsupiterong OFW atbp (TOFW), and the Philippine Chamber of Business and Professionals, Shanghai (PHILCHAM SH).
