Unapologetic Dude author, and inspirational speaker, Francis Miranda, posted this on Facebook, These wise words made me pause for a moment. It makes sense. Then again, knowing what I know now, I do not entirely agree.
In life, we can sow and harvest at the same time. Perhaps, just not in the same places.
We can subdivide our priorities so we can sow and harvest at the same time. This way, we can be "sowing" at work, while "harvesting" in our personal lives. One year, we may not be winning accolades at work, but family life's wonderful. Or we've learned a new skill. Or met with new friends. Or travelled....
