Starting Oct 4, 2018, travelers to Singapore need to apply for e-arrival card

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, Singapore (ICA) just released a statement that they are launching a 3-month trial of an electronic arrival card. This will eventually replace the existing paper disembarkation/embarkation card foreign travelers fill out.

All travelers need to fill out the forms prior to arriving in SG, via the ICA website or mobile app.

Singaporeans, permanent residents, and long-term pass holders (ie students and workers) who are returning to SG will not be affected by the trial, because they don't need to submit the disembarkation/embarkation card.
